Instagram posts for tattoo studios: what to post and when
A tattoo studio shows its work with its own photos; the posts in between are what keep the book organized: open dates, aftercare and how to request a design. Here are ideas for the week, the best times to post according to the average of two public studies and the Feedmakers features that make each post.
What to post
- This month's open dates
- How to care for a new tattoo, day by day
- How to request a design: what to send and how much the deposit is
- Flash designs available this month
- Who tattoos and which style they specialize in
- Pain myths and how to prepare
- The studio's hygiene standards
- Touch-ups: when they happen and what they cost
When to post
Neither study has its own data for tattoo studios, so the map uses the all-industries average.

Frequently asked questions
Does it change photos of my tattoos?
If a photo goes through the creator, an image model redraws it and can change details. To post your photo as it is, you upload a post made outside Feedmakers and schedule it.
Does it follow my studio's style?
Yes. Upload your posts and logo once, and every new piece follows how they're built: the palette, the type and how photo and text mix.
Can I put the schedule in the image?
Yes. You can type the dates and times yourself and they go inside the image. An image model draws them and can make mistakes, so check them before you post.
How much does each post cost?
1 credit per image on Fast, 3 on Standard and 6 on High, and credits are only charged when the image comes out right. The caption doesn't spend credits.
