Instagram posts for vet clinics: what to post and when

A vet clinic has a lot to remind people of: vaccines, deworming, checkups and what to do in an emergency. Here are ideas for the week, the best times to post for health businesses according to two public studies and the Feedmakers features that make each post.

What to post

  • A puppy's vaccine schedule, month by month
  • How often to deworm, and why
  • What to do in an emergency after hours
  • The emergency hours and phone number, in a single image
  • New food or products at the counter
  • A pet up for adoption, with its story
  • Care for hot days or fireworks nights
  • Spaying and neutering: when it makes sense and how to book

Frequently asked questions

Can I use photos of my clients' pets?

Yes, with their owners' permission. Add the photo and Feedmakers places it in a new piece with the text inside it. An image model redraws it, so check that the pet looks like itself before you post.

Can I put the emergency phone number in the image?

Yes. You can type the phone number and hours yourself and they go inside the image. An image model draws them and can make mistakes, so check them before you post: a wrong number in an emergency is a real problem.

Can I schedule the reminders?

Yes, on every plan: they go out on Instagram and Facebook right away or at the time you pick, up to 59 days ahead. The free plan publishes up to 20 posts a month.

How much does each post cost?

1 credit per image on Fast, 3 on Standard and 6 on High, and credits are only charged when the image comes out right. The caption doesn't spend credits.

Try it with your business

10 free credits when you confirm your email and back to 10 every month, no card and no watermark. The first ones cover 3 Standard images or 10 on Fast.
