How it works
Open the piece
In My posts, open a piece and tap Animate or Animate with AI.
Choose how to animate it
In Entrance, pick the animation and the length and download the mp4. In With AI, pick one of the three ideas, the motion and 4 or 8 seconds.
Download it and upload it
The AI video takes a few minutes and shows up in the piece's detail; the bell lets you know. You download it and upload it to your accounts yourself.
What's included
- Entrance is free and made in your browser: five animations (Entrance, Slow push, Light sweep, Reveal and Film grain) of 4, 6 or 10 seconds.
- Entrance suggests a length from how much text the piece has and keeps the text intact, because it moves the same image.
- With AI suggests three ideas made for your piece, like light, smoke, liquid or fabric in motion; if none fits, Other ideas brings new ones.
- With AI you pick Bold or Subtle. The camera stays still, the text and logo are asked to stay put, and the clip ends on the frame it started on, so it loops without a jump.
- With AI lasts 4 or 8 seconds, at 720p with no audio. It costs 3 credits per second (12 or 24), charged only if it works.
- The AI video is saved with the piece; Entrance downloads as an mp4 from Chrome, Edge or Safari 16.4 or newer.

Entrance is on every plan and costs no credits. With AI costs 12 credits (4 s) or 24 (8 s): on the free plan, the 10 welcome credits plus one month's 10 cover a 4 s one; to animate often, Starter (100 credits a month) and Pro (300).
Frequently asked questions
Does Feedmakers post the video to Instagram?
No. You download the video and upload it yourself. Feedmakers publishes images, carousels and image stories.
Can I animate a carousel?
No. You animate a single piece; carousel slides can't be animated.
