The short answer

Put the dates and hours in the first lines, day by day if they change, and say when things go back to normal. Post it two or three days ahead, not on the morning of the holiday.

Frequently asked questions

When should I post holiday hours?

Two or three days ahead, and again in stories the day before. The morning of the holiday is too late for people who already planned their day.

What if I'm open with reduced hours?

List the exact hours for each day. “Reduced hours” without numbers triggers the same question as not posting at all.

Can I schedule the post so it goes out on its own?

Yes. With Feedmakers you create the post with the dates, schedule it for two days ahead and it goes out on Instagram and Facebook by itself. The free plan publishes and schedules up to 20 posts a month.

Can I use these captions as they are?

Yes, they're made to copy. Swap the products, prices and dates for yours, and adjust the tone to how you talk to your audience.

Does Feedmakers write the caption for me?

Yes. Every post you create comes with a hook, caption, call to action and hashtags, in English, Spanish or both, from one line describing what you want to announce.
